“History is made when power and courage go hand-in-hand.”
This Saturday, 9-2-3 were so excited to be part of the Fawcett Society’s Courage Calls 2019 conference, in London. The day centred on cultivating courage, expressing power through activism, and creating lasting change for generations to come - we loved every minute. We joined together with inspiring leaders and pioneers from all walks of life, from women reporting at the forefront of politics to grassroots activists effecting change.
Fawcett organised a packed programme of empowering discussions, including a candid chat with former Cabinet Minister, Amber Rudd on her experience on the political frontline, the importance of women in Parliament, and why we need wisdom and courage in politics now more than ever. Equal pay and representation of women in the media also featured high on the agenda.
Our 9-2-3 mantra is “without challenge, there can be no change”, and this weekend we felt that we were definitely amongst kindred spirits. Well done Fawcett Society - thankyou for having us!
